LOMA Society of the Twin Cities

A LOMA society is an organization of professionals who have earned designations from LOMA. Each society is chartered by LOMA, and only an organization that is chartered by LOMA can use "LOMA" in its name.

The purpose of LOMA societies is to provide society members, students, insurance professional and financial services professionals with opportunities for continuing industry education, professional growth, networking opportunities, and to increase the recognition of all LOMA designations.

Connections and growth with you in mind

What we do

  • Hold two dinners and one breakfast meeting each year featuring a speaker on a topic of current interest in the financial services industry or personal development and a Society business session. A portion of the program may include structured networking.

  • Honor new LOMA designation holders by hosting a recognition dinner

  • Awards a $500 scholarship each year for post-secondary education

  • Provide opportunity for leadership by joining one of our committees (Program, Communications, Technology/Social Media, Scholarship)

  • Mentor LOMA students on a one-on-one basis, offering advice and encouragement to students pursuing the designation.
