Cities LOMA Society, your financial services industry partner in professional
educational excellence. Mission LOMA Society of the Twin Cities provides educational
support, professional development and networking opportunities for financial
services professionals. Purpose The purpose of LOMA societies is to provide society members,
students, insurance professional and financial services professionals with
opportunities for continuing industry education, professional growth,
networking opportunities, and to increase the recognition of all LOMA

- Hear the latest in industry trends from speakers
at Society functions

Society-sponsored community service projects
Activities
- Holds two dinners and
one breakfast meeting each year and features a speech on a topic of
current interest in the financial services industry or personal
development and a session regarding Society business. A portion of the program may include
structured networking.
- Offers an annual seminar or workshop which includes
speakers, panel discussions and interactive sessions.
- Mentors LOMA students on a one-on-one basis, offering
advice and encouragement to students pursuing the designation.
- Honors new LOMA designation holders by hosting a
recognition banquet (a boon for companies unable to offer recognition
programs on their own).
- Awards a $500.00 scholarship each year for
post-secondary education
